This year’s summit will bring convene educators, leaders, and partners committed to solving education’s most complex challenges through improvement science. Grounded in real-world practice, sessions will explore how to navigate uncertainty, strengthen meaningful partnerships, and turn promising ideas into system-wide impact. Participants will learn practical strategies for testing and scaling what works, building resilient systems, and addressing urgent issues like the teacher shortage. Whether you’re working in a classroom, district, university, or community organization, you’ll leave with the tools, insights, and connections needed to drive lasting improvement.
What does the 2026 Improvement in Education Summit offer?
Engage with this year’s Summit through optional pre-conference sessions, available for an additional $80. Each session is designed to actively engage participants and provide a deeper dive into improvement science before the main event begins. Workshop topics include:

Hosted by the National Center for School–University Partnerships (NCSUP), these pre-conference workshops offer a unique opportunity to build meaningful connections, deepen your understanding, and set the stage for a more impactful Summit experience.
This year’s Summit will feature 60-minute sessions, each aligned with one of the following core strands:

- Solving the Teacher Shortage with Improvement Science
These sessions are designed to help attendees dive deeper into each strand through a mix of panels, presentations, and interactive workshops.
